Among the many things to consider when designing a sign for your business, organization or residence, the choice of lettering style is most important. Things to be considered include the lettering size and color as well as thing such as underlining and highlighting, lumination for night recognition and other attributes. If your sign cannot be easily read, then it is of little use to you or anybody.

Then you need to consider the font type. There are hundreds of available fonts but only a few which work well on signage. Over the years, we have discovered which fonts work and which do not. We have shown here a list and style sample of each that we recommend. Of course, we recognize that the final choice is up to you, the client.
